Description:

The project consisted of the extension of the exchange building structure over 2 levels, including post tensioned flooring systems, pre-cast concrete façade and structural steel roof structure. The services included the fit-out of the expanded exchange and a complete upgrade of the mechanical services including new chillers.

Achievements:

The construction was successfully completed in February 2007 whilst keeping the existing exchange operating in a dust and weather free environment and maintaining the high standard of security that Optus requires.
