Description:

The proposed development involves the construction of a new Dan Murphy Liquor Store outlet, 1,444 m2 covered space, adjacent and on the same level as the existing Woolworths Supermarket. A customer parking of 368 car spaces will be constructed adjacent to the Dan Murphy outlet and underneath the outlet, with connection to existing parking under the current supermarket.

Achievements:

A fast track construction programme is being utilised to bring the project from design to final hand over, incorporating ongoing supermarket operations, while also maintaining maximum car spaces possible during construction.

The construction period is 10 months with hand over in three main stages. This incorporates the long lead times of lift and travelators, supply of grown trees and the curfew hours of no heavy movements during school hours, twice a day for 5 days.

Project completed 6 weeks early.
