Description: The project consisted of the demolition of external feature precast walls, retention and re-use of a proportion of the existing external features. As well as the extension of the existing Library over three levels with internal concrete stars and internal reconfiguration, installation of new curtain wall facade, expansion and upgrade of building services.

Achievements: This major construction project was undertaken within an operating university, whilst keeping the existing library operational. The Library construction concluded three months ahead of contract practical completion date. This project was also an Australian Institute of Architects Award Winner in 2008.
